May 19th Fishing Report
Tarpon fishing has finally broke loose and the silver kings are showing up in good numbers just off the beaches and also in Tampa Bay! We have been using live shinners, threadfin and pass crabs for bait to catch these large fish! On saturdays charter we hooked five tarpon, boating two of them between the 110-130 LB weight class. The other three fish fought hard pulling alot of drag and provided some awesome jumps, but we were unable to boat them. The weather has not cooperated the last couple days with heavy rain/wind and we have not been able to leave the dock. The forecast looks good for later in the week and with the new moon on Sunday the 24th, the tarpon bite should be on, providing spectacular action for clients! Call or Email Captain Craig today to book a tarpon trip that you will never forget!!

May 6th Fishing Report
With the full moon approaching this friday tides have been very good this week, providing some great fishing! Roger from Wisconsin had the catch of the week, a 31 IN snook that he released and lost a bigger one that ran out a bunch of line and cut us off in the mangroves! Roger fought the fish very good, but this snook was not happy and there was no stopping him with the light tackle we were using. Snook, trout and redfish have been the targeted species! Clients have been catching limits of trout (5 per person) and redfish (1 per person, 18-27 In.) along with several catch and release snook. Snook season closed May 1st. We have also been catching King Mackarel within 1 mile of the beach in the 10-20 LB class. The tarpon have begun to show up in good numbers in Tampa Bay and I also spotted some fish working there way to the beach! The tarpon fishing should really break loose here in the next week! Get ready and hang on ..... The silver kings are here!
