March 11th fishing report

It has been pooring rain for the last two days but the rain has finally stopped and the weather report looks great for the week! I cant wait to get back on the water tomorrow and get back to fishing! Redfish, speckled trout and sheepshead have been the targeted species, providing some fun action! All three of these fish are in season and are all excellent eating fish! The water temperature is still cool, in the upper 50's but clients have been throwing artificial lures on the grassflats for trout and redfish. We have also been using live shrimp around the docks catching sheepshead and redfish as well. With the forcast showing temperatures in the 70's this week, the water temperature will finally begin to warm up and I expect some great fishing to come! If your interested in going fishing, you can reach me at (941) 812-1402.

Good Fishin,
Capt. Craig
