July 21st Fishing Report
Tarpon season has come to an end, what a great season it was for the "Silver Kings". The action has now turned to the backwater for speckled sea trout, redfish and a few snook mixed in as well. Trout and redfish are in season and can be kept, but the snook are currently out of season and must be released. Your best bet during this time of year is to get out early in the morning or late in the evening, to beat the heat! July 5th Fishing Report
It was a very wet 4th of July weekend, but the weather forecast looks good for the coming days. My charter today braved the rain and it paid off, we caught tarpon, gag grouper and some speckled trout in Tampa Bay! Tarpon continues to be the targeted species and the bite has been good just off the beaches and in Tampa Bay on live threadfin and pass crabs.
In the backwater, the speckled trout bite has been excellent! Clients have been limiting out on trout nearly everyday. We have been catching redfish up to 31 In, along with some catch and release snook. If your interested in going fishing, you can reach me at 941-812-1402. Good Fishin!!
