Several species of grouper will be off-limits in state waters in the Gulf of Mexico, while snook fishing is set to reopen on Florida's Atlantic coast.

South Florida fishing report
Anglers were catching lots of bass, including good numbers of big bass, from the south end of the lake to the Kissimmee River. The best fishing has been with live wild shiners. Anglers using lures had the best results flipping jigs and crawdads around reeds.
