September 7th Fishing Report

Fishing this week has provided some very good action with redfish and trout. The redfish have been schooling up in large groups on the grassflats, oyster beds and mangrove islands. Live shinners and pinfish under a popping cork have been the bait of choice. The reds have been ranging between 25-33 inches and provide a great fight! The trout bite has been very good as well. The trout have been holding on deeper grass flats, in 4-6 ft of water and are ranging between 15-22 inches. If your interested in booking a charter you can reach me at 941-812-1402.
