At their annual Eastern Endorsed Operations Rendezvous, The Orvis Company announced Capt. Steve Horowitz as their Saltwater Fly Fishing Guide of the Year. Capt. Steve has been a member of the Orvis Endorsement Program since 2005 and is the only Endorsed Guide in the Miami area.

The Florida Homebuilders Association is asking the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to take a first step toward possibly removing the wood stork from the federal endangered species list.
