As Southwest Florida moves from sea turtle-nesting season into sea turtle-hatching season, researchers want to remind coastal residents, businesses and visitors to keep the lights off on area beaches to help ensure that just-hatched turtles make their way to the Gulf of Mexico and not into nearby parking lots.
